Explore the Beauty of Revelstoke

Discover the beauty of Revelstoke with our full-day guided group hike. Depending on the trail chosen, this trip will run between 8 and 9 hours in total. With the full-day hike, we have the option of trails either close to the townsite of Revelstoke, in Mount Revelstoke National Park, or in Glacier National Park.

Please note - Group Hikes require a minimum of 4 participants to run. You will be required to enter your credit card details at the time of booking but you will not be charged until the minimum group numbers have been met!

What's Included
A comfortably-paced, full day group hike guided by an ACMG-certified guide. We'll have plenty of opportunities for snack, water, and photo breaks.

What’s Not Included
Please note that personal hiking gear, lunch, and transportation to the trailhead are not included in the package. You’ll need to bring your own essentials to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable day on the trail. After you make your booking, we will discuss trail options and coordinate a meeting time at the trailhead.

Recommended Personal Hiking Gear
To make the most of your hike, we recommend bringing a backpack (20-30 liters), close-toed hiking boots or shoes, and sun protection, including sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and a hat. A headlamp with spare batteries, a 1-litre water bottle, extra snacks, and personal hygiene items such as toilet paper, female hygiene products, and hand sanitizer are also essential. Hiking poles can be useful, especially on uneven terrain, but are not mandatory.

If you are in need of any rental gear, we can provide some basics - just let us know what you need!

Safety Equipment
For your safety, all Hike Revelstoke guides carry essential safety equipment, including a first aid kit, an emergency communication device (Garmin InReach), and a VHF radio equipped with local radio frequencies. We also have access to guest emergency contact information, bear safety gear (bear spray and a bear horn), an equipment repair kit, water filtration tablets, and a headlamp with spare batteries.

Recommended Clothing
Dressing appropriately for the weather is key to an enjoyable hike. Weather in the mountains is unpredictable, and it is best to always be prepared. A t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt, hiking pants, and a waterproof jacket will keep you comfortable throughout the day. Additionally, bringing a warm layer—such as an insulated jacket or fleece—and light gloves can help in case temperatures drop.

Booking Your Trip

Please note that your credit card will not be charged at the time of booking. First, you’ll select your dates, provide some basic information, and enter your payment details. After that, we’ll reach out to you by email to plan your hike together. We’ll discuss what you’re looking for—whether it’s a challenging trek, wildflower spotting, alpine lakes, or scenic viewpoints. Once we’ve settled on a plan that suits you, we’ll process your payment. This way, you don’t have to commit to payment until everything is set!
